Lot 019 - Vintage Studio Pottery Lidded Jar With Sculpted Frog Finial And Fox Head Decorations, Note Repaired Crack Around Rim, 9" x 12" x 8" H 2640-consignment though there is some separationVintage studio pottery lidded jar featuring a sculpted frog finial on the lid and applied fox head forms on the sides. Wheel thrown body with a mottled brown exterior glaze and a speckled gray glazed interior. Signed on the base with a potters mark. The lid has a prominent chip, which has been smoothed and re glazed by a previous owner. There is light wear consistent with age and handling. Note that there is a repaired crack around the rim of the jar.
